Covers:

2. Health & Welfare
Covers:

daily welfare decisions
Can only be used if you lose capacity.

What this service does not include

We may act as Certificate Provider where appropriate and permitted, subject to eligibility, independence, and suitability

Acting as Certificate Provider involves confirming that the donor understands the nature and purpose of the LPA and is making it freely and voluntarily

We do not carry out formal medical or clinical assessments of mental capacity and do not provide medical opinions

We can assist with preparation for submission, including checking documents and providing guidance on the Office of the Public Guardian process

We do not provide tax, estate planning, or inheritance advice

We do not advise on complex trust or asset-protection arrangements
If, during the process, it becomes clear that specialist or medical input is required, we will inform you before any further work is carried out.
