FAQS

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

01

❓ What is a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)?

An LPA is a legal document that lets you appoint someone you trust to make decisions if you lose mental capacity. There are two types: one for health and care decisions, and another for property and finances. You can set them up in advance to give yourself peace of mind.

03

❓ Can you register the LPAs for me with the OPG?

Yes. We assist with completing and submitting the forms to the Office of the Public Guardian. You’ll still need to pay the OPG’s standard registration fee, but we handle the paperwork so the process is stress-free.

02

❓ Do I need a Will if I don’t have much?

Yes. A Will isn’t just for people with large estates — it ensures your wishes are followed, avoids family disputes, and lets you appoint guardians for children. Without one, the law decides who inherits, which may not reflect your preferences.

04

❓ What if I change my mind later?

You can update or revoke a Will or LPA at any time while you still have mental capacity. We’ll guide you on the proper process to make changes, so your documents stay valid and up to date with your wishes.
